“I attended a zoom call about preparing for healthy grocery shopping. The class was interactive-you engaged with us and asked open ended questions. You gave us free resources to find information to make good/better food choices. I like that you had the shopping trip as a part of the session. Even though I wasn’t there, I am very hands on and like to observe the actual process of how to choose the right foods. You had prepared in advance by asking what the ladies wanted to know before the class to be sure their questions were answered. You had handouts for the participants to complete to encourage us to think about what we want at the store and plan out what we should buy to help stay on track while in the store. You have simple recipes available that you know are good. You have good tips on how to prepare foods in a healthier way(ie. Washing canned beans really well before cooking. A good length of time for the course(not too long). There was a lot of good information and tips we could apply right away on our next shopping trip. You had examples of substitutes for commonly used items that are not as good for you(ie. Soy sauce).”

“I really enjoyed doing the cleanse. Cutting out dairy, gluten and drinking more water, I felt less bloated. I knew I was sensitive to dairy and had an intolerance, but I didn’t know how much until this cleanse. I have completely cut out diary. I will continue to keep it out of my diet. "Great experience working with Kim Jacob! I was having pain from the front of my leg that ran down to my big toe. I experienced this pain for several months trying all kinds of things to take the pain away. The pain was a 7 on a scale of 1-10. It was becoming more bothersome as time went on when I walked, moved or stretched my foot in a certain way. If I slept on my back with the covers on top of my foot, it would cause pain. I consulted with Kim and she showed me a stretch that helped my pain go away fairly quickly. We discovered that the cause of my pain was coming from my lower back area and hip on the right side. After doing the stretch three times a day, every day, my pain started going away within a week. After a couple months the pain was completely gone with no issues since. I’m thankful for Kim’s knowledge and helpfulness to learn a simple stretch that has saved me from having to go to the doctors and possibly having to get x-rays, MRI’s and so forth. I will use her again for future ailments.”

“Kim’s workshop was very informative. She first asked participants to reflect on their “relationship” with water(ie. Whether we were drinking enough water). She then talked about the effects of not drinking enough and what it could do to different parts of the body. I liked that she shared her personal experiences. She gave tips for ensuring we are drinking adequate water…including which type of water is best to drink(alkaline). Lastly, she gave participants a call to action and asked that we write down 2 health goals. I’ll be sure to enact my health goals and drink adequate water! Thanks, Kim!”
